AMAZING THINGS BEING DONE IN THE GREENHOUSE

Up until a few years ago, the majority of marijuana was being grown in open spaces, a difficult task for growers due to theft and difficulty controlling the climate. The use of greenhouses to grow cannabis has completely changed the way that cannabis is grown today. If it were not for the marijuana greenhouse the cannabis shortage, which is already a serious issue for suppliers and users right now, would be epidemic. The greenhouse allows growers to have up to five harvests per year, compared to two harvests per year in outdoor setting, and only in parts of the country with very ideal weather conditions. To put the difference into perspective, one 10 by 20 greenhouse can produce more cannabis in a year than could be produced by five acres of outdoor cannabis grow areas. Medical marijuana dispensaries have stated that if not for greenhouse growers, there would be little possibility for widespread use of cannabis for medical issues, as there are already so many recreational users out there using cannabis. Greenhouse sellers which focus on the sale of greenhouses designed for cannabis growth, such as www.ggs-greenhouse.com, have made their main mission to not only provide more cannabis to their clients, but also to provide better cannabis. The marijuana that can be grown inside a greenhouse is so far superior to that grown in an outdoor setting, that on a chemical level they are almost different plants. The science of how better cannabis can be grown using the amazing power of conditioned growing setting, gets better each year. Cannabis growers are discovering methods that allow all the positive properties of the cannabis plant to be amplified, while the unwanted elements of the plant are reduced. Greenhouses may very soon produce a kind of super weed which could change weed consumption as we know it.

A greenhouse structure in a small Texas town is being used to prove that a community can produce much of the food which it needs. A major Texas university set out to demonstrate that a town of around twenty thousand people could function without the need to import food and other resources from outside their own community. The experiment covered every base that a self-reliant town would need for total independence from different outside resource providers. Solar panels were placed all over the city which provided the electricity the town needed to function normally. The town, already producing beef and poultry, was able to use its own livestock to provide residents with meat. Last, but perhaps most impressively, a massive greenhouse was erected on the town’s outskirts which was designed to provide sufficient fruits and vegetables for the whole town. Though many of the people involved in the project believed that the greenhouse wouldn’t be able to provide an entire town with the produce it needed for a whole year, the greenhouse ended up not only providing enough produce for the town, there was a surplus of fruits and vegetables that had to be shipped to neighboring communities to keep it from going bad.
